I bought this MB in late 2016 right here in Nebraska. It was used on a ranch near Sydney, NE for many years. Came with its original slat grill, early style "split back" driver and passenger seats, slat grill fenders with the air deflectors, slat style hood and 4 of the 5 original gauges. Unfortunitely, the data plates were missing. The body needs work, but is mostly solid and I will have it restored. This MB will eventually be restored to as close to factory as I can get her. If anyone has an engine in the MB112XXX range please let me know!
11/24/2024: All chassis and sheet metal work is complete. The body tub is still mostly original but most notably a new rear panel, fuel tank sump and rear floor had to be installed. Original grill, hood, windshield, seats and fenders have been restored. I will begin the process of putting this old girl back together. Still hoping to find an MB block that’s in the appropriate serial number range for this vehicle.
