MB 100064

This jeep is currently being restored. Purchased in 1980 by my father Richard. Did not have original motor and missing all data plates. Registration number found under paint layers on rear panel above "WILLYS". White stars can be seen through peeling OD paint on sides and rear panel. Needs short windshield and early style air filter but has many other early items. Engine, transmission, and transfer case completely restorated and work great. Frame and rear axle were restored in early 2004. The rear axle is an early Ford type with "scalloped" type axle shafts and cast differential plate. The front axle is stampled 11-9-41. The right side had a Bendix joint and the left has a Zreppa joint with a Ford shaft. Both sides now have new Rzeppa joints. Axles attached to the frame and chassis completed with engine installed in May 05. Working on the fenders now and hope to start on the body late summer 2005.
