Restoration completed Autumn 2020. Initially recovered from Estonia by Paul Taylor. Owned post war by an ex Russian Paratrooper living in Estonia after the war and sold on to Paul. Serial Number does not check out to be a Lend Lease jeep so must have come over to Europe with the Americans and swapped on the border so a Russian could get home! That's quite a journey in a jeep :). Engine appears to be a post war Russian copy of a jeep block. Casting marks appear to indicate 1953 manufacture with only a star and some Russian characters where the engine number should be.
