This particular Willy was found in southern California during the last weekend of May 2000. It has been in storage for over 18 years by it's owner. Very little history is known for this vintage vehicle except that it was previously owned by a middle aged civilian for some time over 18 years ago before being acquired by it's southern California owner. The owner had little work done on it other than general maintenance for a short period of time before storing it. It will be restored to it original 1942 condition over the coming months. During storage the brake fluid and gasoline had oxidized and the engine has not been turned so as not to induce any damage before cleaning. First stage of restoration is simply to perform a clean-sweep of the vehicle to restore it to 100% running order. Following this, a series of further stage will be required to totally restore it to it's original 1942 pristine condition. ================ September 13 2010 - Attention - this vehicle was sold to an individual in Florida a few years back and I've since lost his contact details. If you happen to find this information on g503.com please contact me. Thanks !!
