GPW 7220

GPW7220 DOB 3-20-42, Enginge and trans. have been replaced. The Ford Script on the rear panel has been covered up by a previous owner, and hopefully, one day will again be visible. The hood number was arrived by the previous owner, going by the formula in the 'All American Wonder' book...2061998, it could, however, be 500 off ? This jeep is one of the said 2200 that was put on a Willys frame at the time Ford ran out and borrowed a few. The frame number and Data Plate number match. I enjoy my jeep!-she is NOT a trailer queen, she's a driver! This past year I've been to Fort Indian Town Gap and Reading. I'm gearing my impression towards War Correspondent / Photographer, and so far, have come home with some nice shots!!! Every GI loves the jeep !!!! Now all I need is a 4X5 camera !!! 10/18/02....Got the camera!!! :)
