MB 435254

This April '45 Willys MB is restored in 2 years (2017/2018) by myself together with the great help of a friend. I bought the jeep after the 70-years liberation events in 2015 in The Netherlands. It was shipped from Ohio to The Netherlands in 2015 It had an original rolling chassis, axes, body, transfer case, transmission and engine, but had many body parts missing. All original parts used in restoration, obtained mainly at fairs in Belgium/ The Netherlands. The vehicle is dedicated to the 5th Battalion - 51st Highland Divion, which liberated my hometown near Gennep (Holland) in February 1945 during Operation Veritable/ The Rhineland Campaign. It is now ready to go to the 75-years commemorations in Normandy (D-Day) and later this year in Nijmegen/Groesbeek (Market-Garden) and in early 2020 in Gennep/Kleve/Goch (Operation-Veritable) and the liberation of The Netherlands in May 2020.
