The body tub goes with this chassis and the pair of fenders are original WW2. The tub is complete and has had some historic restoration work done but not completed. It needs hat channels, internal supports, Fuel tank sump, side steps and a repair to the riser. (To complete this Jeep you will need a new hood, inner screen frame, gauges, pedals, wiring loom, grab handles, rear lights etc. and the Jeep has been priced accordingly). This Jeep served in the Pacific Theater during WW2 with the Australian military. From the archives the Jeep originally had engine number MB 208923 from the factory and had the wartime Australian hood number of 128233. The Jeep was re-built in Australia after the war by a company called Harden and Johnston of Flinders Street Sydney and the re-built plate is located on the glovebox lid with the three original data plates.
