Jeep Update as of 11-14-02: Runs good, smokes a little, body work 99% complete, body on chassis and bolted down about 30 days of good hard work and "Babs" should be finished! 9-1-01: Chassis is almost done, sans brakelines and master cylinder, driveshafts need u-joints, fenders are on their way home from Maine. Goal: To be completed by "Babs" 60th birthday, 5-12-02, Update as of 10-26-01: Looking more and more like a jeep, front end is complete, fenders and grill on, bumper and gussets on, skidplate and exhaust on, almost ready to fire her up! Update again, hopefully this is one of the last..6-27-03, 99% done!! Drives great, rides great, all sheet metal and painting done, all brackets mounted, lettering almost done. 2 years, 5 months and 27 days of blood, sweat and tears. GPW marked as a stateside mount of the 325th Glider Infantry, F company, 1st vehicle. It Never ends... as of July 2015 Ol' Babs has had a complete engine rebuild after she spun a #3 Crank Bearing. Finishing her up soon, hopefully back on the road after 4 long years of watching her set....
