My family got this jeep as a "gift" from my brother and sister-in- law, Gene and Bev, and I have completed a cosmetic restoration back to OD. It has a bench seat and other modifications so is not totally original. Some summers it returns to our cabin at Fallen Leaf Lake (near South Lake Tahoe) where it has resided since the '50s. It is always very glad to get home! 1/07 Update 2/14 - I learned today that my jeep was manufactured in Richmond, CA. It's ironic that the plant location is about 10 minutes away from our home in Albany.
