I found a photo of this Jeep in the National Archives, identified by the unsual windshield frame. After Korea, this Jeep went to Greece and served there. Found 2 Greek coins under the gas tank and the torn cover a service book, written in Greek, used as a gasket on the power take off. During restoration, was found that a series of strafing hole were located on the real tail, all in a row. These were patched using something that looked like melted lead. I'm surprise that the Frame and the ID plate both have matching serial numbers.
