This Jeep was one of the last Jeeps to be assembled in Australia in 1945. It saw action in Japan with the Australian Occupational Forces. It was brought back to Australia and sold at public auction in 1957 (owned by a Victorian farmer until 1990). I purchased Jeep (in fair condition) and Australian trailer (serial No 166254) in 1990 - Jeep was restored ready for registration by 1993. Current rego AIF-044. The Jeep is used for regular club outings with the World War II Jeeps NSW (based in Sydney) Currently 70 Jeeps registered with the Club. The Jeep is also used every other day for regular driving {This Jeep is a GO JEEP not a SHOW JEEP.
